The essentials
Finoutil is built to work without collecting your personal information. There is no account to create, and your numbers never leave your device.
What data is processed
The amounts you enter in the calculators (salary, contributions, etc.) are used only in your browser to display a result. When you finish using a tool, that result can be saved locally on your device (using localStorage) to prefill your other tools. This information:
- is never sent to a Finoutil server;
- is not linked to your identity;
- remains accessible only from the browser where you entered it;
- can be erased at any time using the button below.
Transfer between tools
To prefill one calculation from another (for example, your income from the salary calculator into the RRSP/TFSA comparison), Finoutil uses temporary session storage that is cleared when you close the tab.
No advertising tracking
Finoutil does not use advertising cookies and never resells any data. No marketing profile is built about you.
Your rights
Since no personal data is kept on our servers, there is nothing for us to review, correct, or delete on our end. You keep full control by erasing your browser's local data at any time.
